It’s home to the World Heritage Site “Shirakami-Sanchi”. The Mission is to promote economic growth and to enrich the quality of life in this area through our marketing and development programs.

The gifts from pure spirit of Shirakami
Shirakami-Sanchi is one of the first World Heritage Site under natural criteria in Japan. It's the largest remaining untouched virgin beech forest has existed since eight to twelve thousand years ago. People have respected and protected it as spiritual mountains whole time till now.
